Multilingual Families to Participate in Community Speak 2022
The DOE, in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA), invites families to participate in the Community Speak 2022 summer program. Through the program, families will have the opportunity to participate in free online English conversation classes, learn about civic resources, and get support in accessing important citywide services for their families. The classes will be run by four community-based organizations (CBOs) that support a variety of languages, including Fulani, Wolof, Mandingo, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Korean, but speakers of all languages are welcome to participate.
The program will run on select days and times via Zoom, from June 24–August 23.
